Chaparral Theory’s Sonoran Dirty Chai Lip Balm offers a holistic approach to lip care with its long-lasting hydration and healing benefits. Unlike typical lip balms that often require frequent reapplication due to drying additives, this lip balm is infused with plumping ingredients like cinnamon and coffee. Inspired by a latte, the balm encourages naturally fuller lips while providing moisture and protection.

  • Tallow: Pesticide Free, Chemical Free, and Hormone Free. Grass-fed and finished, free-range, Arizona cattle. High in vitamins A, D, K, E & B12. Tallow promotes cellular turnover while healing and preventing dryness at a cellular level. It is one of the most dense skin plumping emollients known to man! Tallow is gently antimicrobial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory.
  • Organic Fair Trade Coffee: The caffeine and chlorogenic acids in coffee reduce inflammation. Coffee boosts blood circulation and can help with the appearance of cellulite, while working hard to brighten and reduce discoloration in skin.
  • Golden Jojoba Oil: Made from the seed of the Jojoba plant, which is native to Arizona. It provides deep hydration and long-lasting moisture while remaining gentle and hypoallergenic. Jojoba oil is also noncomedogenic and lightweight rather than greasy. The makeup of jojoba is very similar to human skin oils; by applying this oil you can trick your skin into thinking it has produced enough oil. This will balance oil production without causing acne or other skin issues.
  • Mesquite Tree Resin: We chose this unique resin for our lip balm formula because it was used to soothe chapped, sore, and sunburned lips.
  • Organic Yerba Santa Leaf: This herb also had many uses by Native Americans, mostly internally. However, salves and poultices were used to soothe bruises and wounds. The name means "Holy or Sacred Herb."
  • Refined Beeswax: Beeswax provides a protective layer on the skin. It is humectant, attracting water to the skin and helping you stay moisturized. Beeswax is also a natural exfoliator and helps remove dead skin cells. It contains antioxidants along with vitamin A which helps speed healing, prevent breakouts & support the skin's barrier.
  • Vitamin E Oil: (Mixed Tocopherols from Non-GMO Soy sources). Vitamin E is known for its subtle plumping properties, the ability to protect from sun damage, soothe irritation, and moisturize.
  • Cinnamon Chips, Nutmeg, Cloves: While all these herbs and spices have their own benefits, we mainly use these to create a delicious scent profile. However, cinnamon provides natural plumping and promotes circulation for rosy lips.
  • Protects with antioxidants
  • Supports healing of chapped or cracked lips
  • Nourishes and moisturizes
  • Supports elasticity and naturally plumps lips
  • Stimulates blood flow for naturally rosy lips

    ALWAYS PATCH TEST FIRST
  • This balm will last a year+ as long as you store it properly.
  • Store in a Cool Dry Place: Keep the lip balm in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Avoid Moisture: Ensure that no water or moisture comes into contact with the lip balm, as it can lead to microbial growth.
