Description: This balm completely encompasses the scent of Northern Arizona (Sedona) pine trees and juniper trees. The infused needles and berries along with the resin smells like you’re campfire side in the northern woods.

Ingredients: Tallow (grass fed and finished from Arizona cattle), juniper leaves and berries, refined beeswax, golden jojoba oil, piñon pine needles, oak bark, piñon pine resin, shea butter

Benefits: This plant medicine infused, animal based balm is made with 100% grass fed and finished TALLOW and SHEA BUTTER along with PIÑON PINE RESIN infused JOJOBA oil, and local refined beeswax. We’ve taken locally harvested JUNIPER LEAVES AND BERRIES and PIÑON PINE NEEDLES and infused it into our animal fat base to create a POWERFUL, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant healing balm: which help with skin healing and rejuvenation. We’ve also included OAK BARK to our base for added astringent and anti-inflammatory benefits. With the added Piñon pine resin, its anti fungal and anti-inflammatory properties are used to treat minor cuts, scrapes, and wounds, while also provide a protective barrier that helps prevent infection and promotes healing.

Tallow -  Pesticide Free, Chemical Free, and Hormone Free. Grass fed and finished, free range, Arizona cattle. High in vitamins A, D, K, E & B12. It is non comedogenic which means it won't clog your pores! It heals and prevents dryness at a cellular level. It is one of the most dense skin plumping emollients known. Tallow is antimicrobial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory. It contains conjugated linolenic acid (CLA) which means it can heal multiple skin conditions!

Juniper Leaves and Berries - Juniper leaves contain alpha-pinene and limonene, which have potent antibacterial and antifungal properties. Moreover, the leaves contain flavonoids and phenolic acids, which possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help to shield the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Juniper leaves have been used in traditional medicine for centuries to treat various skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, and acne. The leaves can soothe and nourish the skin. They can also improve the skin's overall texture and appearance by reducing blemishes, fine lines, and wrinkles. Additionally, juniper leaves can help to detoxify the skin and reduce the appearance of pores, resulting in a clearer, smoother complexion.

Refined Beeswax - This is a protective layer on the skin. It is humectant, attracting water to the skin and helping you stay moisturized. Beeswax is a natural exfoliator and helps remove dead skin cells. It will not clog your pores! It is antiseptic and contains antioxidants along with vitamin A which helps speed healing, prevent breakouts & support the skin's immune system.

Golden Jojoba Oil - Made from the seed of the Jojoba plant, which is native to Arizona and California, Native Americans have been using this oil for generations. Its many benefits include: deep hydration and long lasting moisture, gentle and hypoallergenic. Jojoba oil is also noncomedogenic and easy rather than greasy. The makeup of jojoba is very similar to human skin oils; by applying jojoba oil you can trick the skin into thinking it has produced enough oil. This will balance oil production without causing acne or other skin issues. This oil is full of nutrients like Vitamin E and B, as well as antioxidants and minerals like chromium, copper, and zinc.

Piñon Pine Needles - The needles of the piñon pine tree contain high levels of vitamin C, which is a potent antioxidant that can help boost collagen production and protect the skin from sun damage. The needles also contain other beneficial compounds such as flavonoids and terpenes that have anti-inflammatory properties, making them effective in reducing redness, swelling, and irritation of the skin. In traditional medicine, piñon pine needles have been used to treat a variety of skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis due to their soothing and moisturizing properties. They can also help to improve skin texture and tone by promoting cell turnover and increasing blood flow to the skin.

Oak Bark - Tannins are the most abundant compounds in oak bark and are known for their astringent properties, which help to tighten and tone the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, tannins can help to soothe irritated skin and reduce inflammation. Flavonoids and quercetin are potent antioxidants found in oak bark that can protect the skin from free radical damage caused by environmental stressors such as UV radiation and pollution. They also possess anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce skin redness and inflammation.

Piñon Pine Resin - The resin of the piñon pine tree contains a variety of beneficial compounds, such as abietic acid and pimaric acid, which have potent properties that can help prevent acne and other skin infections. The resin also contains antioxidants such as flavonoids and polyphenols, which can help protect the skin from free radical damage and promote skin cell regeneration. In traditional medicine, piñon pine resin has been used for centuries to treat a range of skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, and rashes. It can also be used topically to help heal wounds and soothe skin irritation.

Shea Butter - Vitamin A and E are powerful antioxidants found in shea butter that can help protect the skin from free radical damage caused by environmental stressors. They also promote skin cell turnover and can help to improve skin elasticity and texture. Essential fatty acids are also present in shea butter and are essential for maintaining healthy skin. These fatty acids help to nourish and moisturize the skin, promoting skin hydration and preventing dryness. Plant sterols are another important compound found in shea butter that have anti-inflammatory properties, helping to reduce redness and swelling of the skin. They also help to repair the skin barrier and can improve skin texture and tone.
